From 2-5 October 2023, Flyence Aviation Academy welcomed the Wizz Air team in our facilities in Athens for our first Selection Event for pilots. Our cadets had the chance to explore a world of opportunities by the fastest growing low cost airline in Europe and we couldn’t be more excited for the new chapters in their careers.

Showing off our airworthy and newly painted Cessna 152 for a Static Display! Our SX-AQF aircraft was honored to participate in this year’s Athens Flying Week event. An event characterized as one of the biggest and most successful aviation events in Southeast Europe.

Athens annual international aviation event that occurred on the 4th and 5th of September 2021 in Tanagra Air Force Base Athens is a unique show conducted by international aviation teams who demonstrated their flying skills by operating their state-of-art.

With more than 80,000 spectators from Greece and 5000 from abroad, over 15 hours of spectaculars, 48 display teams from 10 countries, 50 sponsors, over 30 exhibitors & traders, 27 static airplane & helicopter displays, and more than 500 international spotters!

We are pleased to have contributed to sharing the amusement, enthusiasm, and education. If you have missed out on all of that, make sure to catch us there in the upcoming year or meet us directly in our headquarters!

Based on elegance, minimalism, and modernism, our brand protrudes in this year’s EBGEgr awards that featured over 330 design studios and freelancers, with approximately 1200 projects.

Let us take another moment to celebrate our brand “Flyence – Aviation Academy,” which earned a Merit in the Greek Graphic Design & Illustration Awards (EBGE) in the category “Logotype – Middle & Large Clients.”

Combining the concepts of extensive knowledge, tutoring, and learning experience, Flyence is derived from the words fly and experience.

The logo was designed by rotating the first letter of the brand name “f” then transforming it into an airplane in the take-off phase.

We are delighted to announce that our brand design got awarded as the Best Global Brand. Our brand design stood out amongst hundreds of projects from more than 30 countries globally at the Best Brand Awards 2021.

Our name Flyence derives from the concept of the Science of Flying. Our logo depicts an airplane while taking off, designed from the first letter of the brand name (f).

Mr. Christian Baun, of the jury committee at the Best Brand Awards, wrote: “I’m speechless over this logo and envious that I did not design it. Amazingly simple and has a great effect! Nice artwork but also an awesome idea; You need both if you want a winning logo! Very powerful to have a trademark in a logo.”

Today we proudly announce our Women Ambassadors Pilot Scholarship.

Women Scholarship

Our program encourages exceptional women to become professional pilots. Every year, we will award 20 scholarships to aspiring female pilots. The scholarship recipients will become role models with the mission to inspire more women to join them in the flight deck!

The selected candidates of this program will each receive €3000 to cover some of the cost of their pilot training program or 12 months of uncharged all-inclusive accommodation.

Why do we need more women in the flight deck?

As a training organization, we aim to advance women in aviation to broaden the civil aviation talent pool. Today, women make up only 6% of professional pilots worldwide. Unlike many other traditionally male-dominated professions, the aviation industry is still not attracting enough women. Our scholarship program aims to develop the industry’s future women pilots hoping to address the depreciation of women in this profession.

What does it mean to become our Ambassador?

We will entrust you to share your passion for aviation and inspire the next generation of women pilots. Moreover, we will follow you throughout your journey to the flight deck and to your first few years as a professional pilot, providing regular updates through social media and sharing your experience at our events.
